How can I financially handle a pregnancy?
There are hundreds of nonprofits and government programs ready to assist you on your pregnancy journey. The first step is knowing that all of these resources are available to you so that you can begin to take advantage of them. See our “Resource Packet” page which just touches the surface of what is available to you.
Government Programs
WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) is a government program that ensures you have access to healthy foods and nutrition. “WIC provides healthy foods, personalized nutrition education, breastfeeding support and referrals to other services to support you and your family.” (Read more about WIC here.)
Baby Pantries
Women’s Care Mary’s Center provides you with clothing and other baby essentials for your pregnancy, but the resources don’t stop there. Here is a list of other local resources. Or, click here for car seats.
